This year’s National Tournament will be held in Kobe, which experienced the earthquake disaster in 1995. In light of this, we made armbands with the prefectures written on them. Our hope is that the participants will rejoice in their connections with others and use them as a source of strength when competing.

We will soon present the armbands to all of you, so sew it on your right sleeve and gather together.

For those of you who will not be able to participate in the National Tournament, please see the participants off with a smile.

Your smiles will surely make them do their best at the tournament and want to see you again.

We hope the tournament will be exciting and a lot of fun.
